We honor our current and former pastors and educators for Black History Month. Click on the link for details.
The Black community in general, and the Sylvannah Church community in particular, honor our past and current pastors for their leadership within the community of faith and for helping us to appreciate who we are and who we can be through Christ. We acknowledge our pastors on this website under the About Us tab.
In addition, Black educators and administrators, and staff, at all levels, continue to be a source of encouragement to us. It is so important for us and our children to see successful Black women and men as community leaders, not just educators. This is one of the reasons we continue to support and participate in the Spotsylvania Sunday School Union, which has always supported Black education in Spotsylvania county and vicinity.
Sylvannah Church throughout her history has been blessed to have many Black educators and administrators in our congregation. They have and continue to keep us on our toes! We continue to strive to leave a godly example for our children and for generations to come.
Thank you for your service to God and to our community.
